The painting at right, Pinkney Street Shadows is exhibiting at an American Landscape show at the Arti Amicitiae in Amsterdam, Holland, which the Salmagundi Club in New York City arranged.

These urban paintings begin as plein air sketches. Pinkney Street Shadows was done entirely plein air during a Paint Annapolis event. However, some of them are finished in the studio where I enlarged and revised them for a final studio painting.
