Hope you to see you there. Mary, Andrei and I will be there with some delicious treats. Sculpture by Rhona Schonwald will grace the gallery as well. These Potomac River School Paintings have been my focus since early spring. I have many new paintings, including the one above called "Autumn Overlook."
I continue as president of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters, where there is always something going on. The Society, which began in 1913, has a number of exhibitions each year, and the next one is at Strathmore Hall Art Center, Bethesda, MD, opening in November, 2009. In July and August of 2010, the WSLP will exhibit paintings of the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed in conjunction with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation at the University Maryland University College facility in Adelphi, MD.
