The National Oil and Acrylic Society (NOAPS) has accepted my painting, Shadowed Gorge for this prestigious exhibit.
This painting began as a plein air piece in Ellicott City, MD overlooking the Patapsco River. I was able to capture the brilliant sunlight as it brushed the tops of the trees and formed dappled light in the woods.

These two distinguished art associations have arranged reciprocal landscape exhibitions at their respective venues. I am privileged to have two of my paintings juried into the Amsterdam show. Arti et Amicitiae, established in 1839, is an association of visual artists and art-loving members who can meet in a prominent building at Rokin in the city centre of Amsterdam.
